The Vancouver Grey Wolves defeated the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 7-6, at Wolf Den in Vancouver. Vancouver was led by 31-year old right fielder Yoon-tae Ch'ae, who went 2 for 4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. After losing, Thunder Bay is 6-9.

Up to bat in the bottom of the ninth, Efren Alog wanted to seize the moment and deliver a clutch hit. Thunder Bay pitcher Francisco Colón had other ideas. He wanted to end the Vancouver rally. What happened next? With one out, Alog hit a sacrifice fly -- and the Grey Wolves erupted in celebration.
