Pandas Suffer 7-4 Setback
|
The Buffalo White Walkers defeated the Montana Pandas, 7-4, in United States Premier League action at Beyond the Wall. Zhong-yi Yun pulled his weight. The 8-year veteran was 3 for 3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. The third-place White Walkers raised their record to 13-11.
In the bottom of the sixth, Buffalo left fielder Yong-hong Ren put his team on top. With two out and the bases loaded, he hit his 5th home run of the year. Montana pitcher Jon Phillips served it up. Just like that, the White Walkers were ahead, 7-4.
"Let's just say I'm happy we won," said Yun. "There are a lot of people in the clubhouse who like to whine too much when we lose."
