Shredders Dumped, 6-5, by New Orleans

The New Orleans Voodoo and Hollywood Shredders obliged fans looking for a good time.
The New Orleans Voodoo knocked off the Hollywood Shredders, 6-5, at The Voodoo Lounge. Clint Sheffield was a big reason New Orleans won. The first baseman was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. New Orleans reliever Imbart Theunen got the win, raising his record to 1-0. José Salinas was tagged with the loss.
Sheffield turned the game around in the bottom of the seventh. That's when the New Orleans first baseman dialed up a 3-run home run. Just like that, New Orleans's 5-3 deficit turned into a 6-5 lead.
Postgame, Voodoo manager Chase Sims praised Sheffield. "Having Looney Tunes in the lineup makes us a better team."
The Voodoo win now puts them at 12-12.
