Charleston right fielder Rich Lee was sensational. He went 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Thunder Bay beat the Battery, 5-4. Steve Hale finished to wrap up his 4th save. The win lifts Thunder Bay to a record of 7-11.

Thunder Bay used a clutch at-bat from Calvin Shanahan to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Northern Lions BC ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Charleston manager Matt Hunt.
