The home team gave their fans plenty to cheer about, with a thrilling walk-off win.
Baltimore wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Adrian Goff, falling to the Buckhead Bowties, 3-2. Goff threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball for the losing team. With the win, Buckhead boosts its record to 7-11.
Buckhead got a clutch hit from Bikila Ayinde. The second baseman socked a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was game-ender.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Buckhead manager Kerry Hofmeister said.
