Riding the 3-hit performance of the 31-year old right fielder Gilberto Silva, the Boston Patriots stopped the Buffalo White Walkers, 13-1, in 9 innings. Orlando Díaz got the win, improving to 4-1. He held the White Walkers to 1 run on 5 hits over 8.1 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 1. The win gives Boston a season record of 15-9.
