Ponies Get Hard-Earned Win
The Kingston Ponies did just enough to sneak past the Panama City Piranhas, 7-6, at Megaffin Park. Kingston catcher Júlio Gil, in particular, had a standout performance. The Piranhas fall to 7-12 and continue to sputter in the early going.

The Ponies got a clutch hit from center fielder Holden Hart. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to left, to win the game for the Ponies.

"I like the grit of this ballclub," Gil said.
