Matt Jenkins was instrumental in his team's 8-7 triumph over the Dayton Dirty Reds. The center fielder went 2 for 4 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3 for the Montana Pandas. The Dirty Reds, 9-10, continue their so-so start to the 2059 season.

In the bottom of the ninth, with two out and the game tied, 7-7, 30-year old second baseman David Jones won it for Montana. With the bases loaded, Jones hit a 1-0 fastball from Henry Peters for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 8-7 win.

"Been a rough stretch for us," said Dayton manager David Dodds.
