Bowties Earn 7-6 Win Versus Piranhas
The Buckhead Bowties weathered an outstanding game by Panama City first baseman Oscar Worthy to topple the Piranhas, 7-6. Worthy went 3-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Rory May picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Francisco Pacheco was tagged with the loss. With this game in the books, Buckhead is 10-13, Panama City 9-14.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Buckhead. That's when 26-year old shortstop Harry Kofmeister hit a 2-run home run off Francisco Pacheco to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.

"This place sure got loud," said Kerry Hofmeister, the Buckhead manager.
