Anderson, Lakers Beat Flamingos, 7-1
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 23-year old left fielder Donald Anderson, the Echo Park Lakers stopped the Las Vegas Flamingos, 7-1. The win puts the Lakers at 7-16, while the Flamingos drop to 10-13.

With Echo Park leading 2-1 in the top of the third, Anderson hit a knuckleball from Troy Dalton for a solo home run. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Lakers ahead, 3-1.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Anderson told the Echo Park Chronicle.
