Ouyang Swings Battery to 7-5 Win
|
Charleston left fielder Lang Ouyang had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Kingston Ponies, 7-5. Pham Phung got the win, improving to 4-0. He held the Ponies to 3 runs on 6 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 2. The Ponies, at 10-17, have lost 4 in a row.
In the first inning, Ouyang had a 3-run home run for Charleston. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Battery on top, 3-0.
"It's always great to put the barrel on the ball and contribute," said Ouyang.
