The Dayton Dirty Reds powered past the Cape Coral Hurricanes, 10-5, at Lang Park. Edgar Zwarthoed provided some of the pop. He was 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The 11-17 Hurricanes have lost 10 consecutive games.

Making an impact for Dayton was left fielder Jung-heum Kim. Amazing drilled a 3-run home run off Bob Smithley in the bottom of the second. For the game, Kim was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once.
