Hollywood Shredders starter Chris Johnston hurled his team past the Toledo Stingers, 5-2. The 4th-place Shredders bumped their record to 13-12.

The Shredders got a big at-bat from catcher Stanley Johnston. For the game, Johnston was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Hollywood a 3-2 lead.

Hollywood manager Bill Cheese was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys played hard, they played all the way through," he said.
