Leviathan Top Northern Lions BC in Extras, 2-1
|
The Nova Scotia Leviathan wiggled past the Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC, 2-1, in 10 innings at The Dungeon in Halifax. The win was highlighted by the performance of Nova Scotia pitcher Ben Frazier. Thunder Bay's current losing streak has reached 4 games.
Nova Scotia got a clutch hit from Matsuo Ino. The right fielder launched a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a kill shot.
"That was a really good outing by Ben," said Nova Scotia manager Tyler Studebaker.
