White Walkers Fall, 6-3, to Seattle
|
The Seattle Rocketeers took on the Buffalo White Walkers at Beyond the Wall.
Buffalo designated hitter Octávio Cruz had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 6-3, to Seattle at Beyond the Wall. Cruz went 2-4 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch. James Tucker earned the save for Seattle, his 9th of the year.
Seattle used a well-timed hit by Dan Wells to capture the win. The third baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Rocketeers ahead, 6-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"We came in and got the job done. That's what it's all about in this business," said Wells.
The win puts Seattle at 15-11 this season.
