Kingston Gets 5-1 Win
|
George Taylor, who leads the 3L in innings pitched with 53.1, never let the Billy Goats get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Ponies to a win, 5-1. Jonathan Luna got the save, the 4th for him this season. The win puts Kingston at 13-21.
Kingston used a well-timed hit by Jaicus Saracho to capture the win. The shortstop socked a 2-run double in the top of the sixth inning to put the Ponies ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Saracho.
