Tied up with the Stingers in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Northern Lions BC got a boost from center fielder Jack Lazarus. With the bases loaded, Lazarus saw a full count sinker from Mark Cunningham and hit a 2-run single to break the stalemate and put Thunder Bay on top, 4-2.
