Good production from shortstop Larry Parker helped the Buckhead Bowties topple the Kingston Ponies, 8-2. Parker was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Bowties. Edward Margaret got the win, improving to 3-3. He worked 7.2 innings, giving up 2 runs on 10 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. Buckhead has now won 3 in a row.

With Buckhead leading 4-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Parker hit a slider from Edward Small for a 2-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Bowties ahead, 6-2.
