The Toronto Thunder earned a close win over the Mexico City Blue Demons, thanks in part to Brandon Fox. The Toronto right-hander, who leads the PL in wins with 5, played a key role in the 3-2 victory. Toronto is now 17-10.

Toronto took the lead, 3-1, on Justin Allen's 4th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Mexico City pitcher Mark Bowden in the top of the seventh.

"I was a little disappointed," said Mexico City manager JJ Hoban. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
