Colorado wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Sloppy Thurston, falling to the Toledo Stingers, 4-3. Thurston threw 7.0 innings allowing 2 runs for the losing team. Toledo has a record of 16-11, placing them 4th in the Premier League.

Toledo used a clutch hit from Pat Wallace to get the win. The designated hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Stingers ahead, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
