Fighting Dachshunds Beat Redlegs, 2-1

Hurler Bobby Dudley gave the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds a solid start. The native of West Orange, New Jersey helped his team defeat the Sacramento Redlegs, 2-1, at Sacramento Sanitation Station. Dudley picked up the win for Ellenburg, going 5.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. The save was credited to Gil Dunn, his 2nd.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Juan González? The Ellenburg left fielder had a run-scoring double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Fighting Dachshunds on top, 2-0. For the game, González had 1 double and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
