Minch Strokes 3 HR Against Monongahela

Ellenburg center fielder Aloysius Minch led the Fighting Dachshunds to a triumph, 12-0, over the Monongahela Monsters, crushing three home runs.
"He's scary good when he's swinging the bat like that," said Ellenburg skipper Pedro Rodríguez.
Indeed, Minch put up some "scary good" numbers: three homers, 4 hits in 5 at-bats with 4 runs and 3 RBIs.
"I'm just thinkin' about winning ballgames," Minch said. "When you think about home runs, you very seldom get 'em."
Aloysius Minch doubled in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Iván Marquis in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Eduardo Rocha in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Eduardo Rocha in the 8th.
