Thomas and Morimoto Brawl, League Suspends Them

If there wasn't a history between Phil Thomas of Pennsauken and Satoshi Morimoto of Jersey City, then there is one now. The incident between the two sparked a bench-clearing scrum with those two being the center of attention. Now they will miss 4 and 6 games respectively as a result of their actions. The league office announced their suspensions today.
"We're both really competitive," Thomas said later, "and sometimes things go a little too far because of it."
At present, Thomas is batting .188 and has collected 2 home runs, 5 RBIs, .235 OBP and scored 3 runs.
