Hollywood right-hander Roy Huntingford pitched his team to victory over the Toledo Stingers at The Hollywood Bowl. The final score was 5-1. Kyle Chambers finished the game for Hollywood and earned his 2nd save. With this game in the books, Hollywood is 15-12, Toledo 12-15.
With no one out in the bottom of the first, Soo-keun Yi barreled up a fastball from Rodrigo García. The result was a 2-run home run, putting the Shredders in front, 4-1.
"Roy is still learning," said Shredders manager Bill Cheese. "The sky's the limit for him."
