Flyers Win with Late Rally
|
The Pennsauken Flyers faced a tough opponent in Bakersfield pitcher Han-soo Yang, but found a way to pull out the victory at Jerome Grounds by a final score of 3-2 in 10 innings. Yang went 7.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Pennsauken pitcher David Arnold got the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jared Wilson got the loss. The loss lowers the Bakersfield record to 1-2.
This game was not decided until late. With no one out in the top of the tenth, Phil Thomas drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Flyers took the lead, 3-2.
"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Thomas.
