The Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds got a superb performance from pitcher Al Moore, but the Pennsauken Flyers still won the game, 4-3. Moore threw 6.0 innings of 1-hit ball. Reliever Irving Rascal picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Jody Dunn took the loss. The win moves Pennsauken to a record of 3-2.

Phil Thomas was the walk-off hero for Pennsauken. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Flyers left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We did a lot of things right," said Thomas.
