Patriots Rally Late to Clip Colorado
Starting pitcher Eric Buchanan gave the Boston Patriots a rock-solid effort. The Bexley, Ohio native helped his team defeat the Colorado Billy Goats, 3-2, at Grazing Hills. Buchanan picked up the win for Boston, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 2 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. Yong-hyun Kim, who finished 2nd in the PL in saves with 27 last year, earned the save for Boston.

Boston used a clutch hit from Ali Aghamirzaeijenaghard to get the win. The second baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Patriots ahead, 3-2. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Colorado manager Mack Kilkeary.
