The Memphis Mockingbirds had to overcome a big game from Hollywood first baseman Soo-keun Yi to leave The Hollywood Bowl with a victory. And they did, winning, 5-4. Yi was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Mockingbirds sit in 5th place in the Premier League with a record of 15-14.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Butch Collins? The 27-year old second baseman Collins stroked a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put Memphis up, 5-4. For the game, he was 3 for 5, including 2 doubles and 1 single.
