Shredders Take Down Bullets, 8-3
|
The Hollywood Shredders clipped the Baltimore Bullets, 8-3, in 11 innings at Baltimore Grounds. The standout performance belonged to Hollywood pitcher and Gladstone, Missouri, native Marc Clemow. The Shredders go to 17-12, putting them third in the Premier League.
Xiao-gang Kong delivered a big hit for Hollywood. The pinch hitter drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Shredders ahead, 6-3. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said Hollywood manager Bill Cheese.
