Tritons Squelch Redlegs Offense in Shutout Win
Jersey City turned a good effort from starter Nathan Sims into a win over the Sacramento Redlegs at Jersey City Grounds. The Tritons won the game, 3-0. The loss makes Sacramento 2-5.

Larry Wood had a big solo home run for the Tritons in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Jersey City leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a sinker from Brian McDaniel, the 16th overall pick in the 2054 draft, and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Tritons on top, 2-0.

"It wasn't a very good day at the ballpark," said Sacramento manager Kyle Lucas.
