|
A 3-RBI performance from Stanley Johnston, who is rated as the 35th best prospect by BNN, helped the Sacramento Redlegs beat the Hartford Pride, 8-5. Sacramento starter Benoît Lambert was credited with the win after throwing 116 pitches over 5.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. The win leaves Sacramento with a record of 5-2.
Johnston had an important at-bat with runners on 2nd and 3rd in the top of the sixth, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Redlegs went on to win.
"Winning never gets dull," said Johnston.
