The Boston Patriots racked up a win at Grazing Hills, bumping off the Colorado Billy Goats, 8-2. Eric Buchanan, who started for Boston, pitched effectively for his team. Buchanan, the 31st overall pick in the 2052 draft, went the distance for Boston. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. The Patriots, at 19-11, lead by one game in their division.

The Patriots got an important contribution from designated hitter Bill Castro, who in the top of the seventh knocked a first pitch fastball to right for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Patriots ahead, 6-0.

"If we keep hitting the ball well, the wins will pile up," said Boston skipper Brian Fahie.
