White Walkers Fall, 6-2, to Orpen, Rocketeers
|
The Seattle Rocketeers defeated the Buffalo White Walkers, 6-2, in part because of first baseman Brian Orpen. Orpen was 4 for 4 with 4 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Rocketeers. The winning pitcher was 13-year veteran Nick Snyder. He tossed 99 pitches over 5.2 innings, allowing no runs on 4 hits. The save went to José Correa, number 10 for him.
The Rocketeers picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"We had a nice day," said Seattle skipper Andrew Powell.
Seattle, at 16-14, occupies 4th place in the Premier League.
