A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Norfolk Pajaritos and Montreal Machine.

The Norfolk Pajaritos and starting pitcher Kenny Riley stifled the Montreal offense en route to a comfortable 8-1 win at Stade Olympique. The loss has the Machine at 1-6.

Riley made it look easy. He scattered 4 hits over 7.1 innings, while racking up 9 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 2-0.

"Kenny attacked hitters and trusted his stuff," said Norfolk manager Phil Baker.
