Riding the 2-hit performance of the former first round draft pick Townes van Zandt, the Pennsauken Flyers defeated the Kansas Rainbeaus, 6-2. With the win, Pennsauken elevates its record to 5-2.

Cris Ortíz's at-bat in the top of the sixth was significant, coming with runners on 1st and 3rd and the game tied, 2-2. The Pennsauken left fielder hit a run-scoring single off Bob Bradley to put the Flyers up.

"I really like what we did out there today," van Zandt said after the game.
