Shredders Rally to Eke Out Win

Hollywood and Memphis scratched and clawed until someone claimed the prize.
Hollywood got a first-rate effort from pitcher Roy Huntingford, who frustrated Memphis hitters en route to a 2-1 Shredders triumph at The Hollywood Bowl. The winner in relief was Jack Hill. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.1 innings. He now owns a record of 2-0.
The decisive blow was delivered in the bottom of the 12th when Stanley Johnston hit a run-scoring double off 38-year old left-handed pitcher Nick Long to win the game for Hollywood. The home crowd went wild.
Huntingford called the win a testament to his team's "tenacity."
Hollywood has a record of 16-14, placing them 5th in the Premier League.
