Behind a fine performance from Ishaan Swan, the Panama City Piranhas knocked off the Montana Pandas, 6-3. Swan went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times for the Piranhas. Roberto Morales got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. The win gives Panama City a record of 2-1.
Swan had a big hit for Panama City with one out in the top of the fourth. With Panama City leading 1-0, Swan hit a solo home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Piranhas up, 2-0.
"You work hard, day in and day out, hoping to give the fans something to cheer about. Today was a good day," Swan told the Panama City Gazette.
