Rainbow Mermaids Deal Thunder 6-3 Defeat

Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids starter Mitsuo Yoshida was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Toronto Thunder, 6-3. The winner was Yoshida. He threw 6.2 innings of 4-hit ball. The loser was Dong-hoon An. The save went to Rob Camp, number 2 for him.
Leo Spaceman, who is tied for 9th in the PL in runs scored with 17, aided the Northern Virginia cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the third. For the game, the right fielder went 2-3 with a double.
"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Spaceman.
Northern Virginia goes to 16-15, Toronto to 18-13.
