The Sacramento Redlegs defeated the Hartford Pride, 15-4, at Pride Park. Leading the charge for Sacramento was left fielder Ricardo Cantú. He went 2-5 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. The loss puts Hartford at 4-5.

In the top of the third, Cantú had a 2-run home run for Sacramento. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Redlegs on top, 2-0.

Cantú said: "We didn't really let up all day. We kind of kept going and going."
