Brass Suffer 2-1 Home Loss
|
Syracuse starter Brian Hill kept the Baton Rouge offense from doing much damage. The right-hander leaned on his fastball in leading the Squirrel Monkeys to a 2-1 win. Syracuse goes to 6-3.
It could have been a different outcome for Syracuse, had it not been for Balu Tuhin, the 24-year old shortstop . Tuhin contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Syracuse up, 2-1.
"I just kind of blacked out and executed my pitches," said Hill.
