Shredders Rally to Nose Past Northern Virginia
The Hollywood Shredders faced a tough opponent in Northern Virginia pitcher Kip Hill, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Atlantica by a final score of 5-4. Hill went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. The win gives the Shredders a record of 10-21.

Hollywood used the timely hitting of Stanley Johnston to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Shredders on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"We took home the win," said Johnston. "What's not to like?"
