The Montreal Machine topped the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds, 4-1, in USPL Triple A action at Stade Olympique. The game was highlighted by the performance of Montreal pitcher Arvin Lawton. Rudolph Williams wrapped it up, recording his 3rd save. Ellenburg falls to 6-4.

Justin Walters had a big 2-run home run for the Machine in the bottom of the third inning. With Montreal leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from former first round draft pick Fernando Ríos and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Machine on top, 3-0.

"You need to show up when your number's called," said Walters.
