Hollywood Defeated By White Walkers, 4-1

Buffalo turned a good effort from starter Jake Haynes into a win over the Hollywood Shredders at Beyond the Wall. The final score was 4-1. Rich Baker earned save number 3 this season. The White Walkers now have a record of 16-15 with the win over Hollywood.
The Shredders had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the White Walkers going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 23-year old first baseman Carl Watson came to the plate. Watson hit a 3-run home run on a 2-1 fastball from Hollywood hurler Mark Sims. It was Watson's 2nd home run of the year.
Haynes called the win a test of his team's "mettle."
