Syracuse right fielder Bill Strong helped his team beat the Bakersfield Nobles, 6-5. Strong went 3 for 5 for the Starks. With the win, Syracuse boosts its record to 6-4.

The Starks got a clutch hit from second baseman Evan Winn. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Starks.

"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Winn.
