Vancouver Grey Wolves starter Salvador López turned in a top-notch performance against the Boston Patriots at Wolf Den in Vancouver. The result was a win for the Grey Wolves, 5-0. The winning pitcher was López, now 1-0. He tossed 5 innings of 2-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5. With the win, Vancouver boosts its record to 3-1.
Max King broke a 0-0 tie in the bottom of the fifth with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Grey Wolves in front, 1-0. For the game, King drove in one run.
