Riding the 4-hit performance of the 30-year old left fielder Nick O'Bryan, the Montreal Machine stopped the Philadelphia Liberty Reserves, 9-1. The win gives Montreal a record of 7-6.

The Machine got a lift from catcher Ilija Maric, who in the top of the third hit a 3-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season put the Machine on top, 5-1.

"We didn't put our best foot forward tonight," said losing manager Kiril Neuvel.
