Carter, Tritons Notch Nifty 2-1 Win Over Ellenburg
|
The Jersey City Tritons got a marvelous performance from pitcher Derek Carter. The right-hander kept the Ellenburg offense from ever getting much traction. The result was an impressive 2-1 Jersey City victory at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Augusto Gonzáles closed the game out for Jersey City, earning his 6th save. The win gives Jersey City a record of 11-2.
Carter gave Jersey City a first-rate performance. The 6-foot-1 right-hander permitted 1 run on 2 hits over 8 innings of work.
