Ellenburg turned a fine outing from starter Jorge Souza into a victory over the Jersey City Tritons at Dog Park in Ellenburg. The final score was 4-2. The Tritons, now 3-10, continue their poor start.

H.R. Pickens hit a 2-run home run off Harvey Caldwell in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Fighting Dachshunds ahead, 3-2. In addition to the homer, Pickens had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.
