A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Seattle Rocketeers and Boston Patriots.

The Seattle Rocketeers topped the Boston Patriots, 4-1, in United States Premier League action at Dunkin Donuts Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Seattle pitcher Jason Cox. Cox yielded 1 run over 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 3, and struck out 6. His record improves to 5-2. Bill Hayes closed the game out for Seattle, earning his 3rd save.

Chong-hun Chon had a big solo home run for the Rocketeers in the top of the fourth inning. With Seattle leading 1-0 and the bases empty, he sized up a sinker from Jesús Ramírez, who is tied for 9th in the PL in wins with 3, and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Rocketeers on top, 2-0.

"Jason made some good pitches in some situations he needed to make them in," said Seattle manager Andrew Powell.

The Rocketeers sport a record of 12-21.
