Flyers Upend Nobles, 6-2

Pennsauken first baseman Jean Kools was a significant contributor in his team's 6-2 triumph over the Bakersfield Nobles. He went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Flyers. The win brings the Flyers to 8-5, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.
Tied up with the Nobles in the top of the fifth inning, the Flyers got a boost from right fielder Patrice Ragot. With the bases loaded, Ragot saw a first pitch fastball from Nick Johnston and hit a 2-run single to break the stalemate and put Pennsauken on top, 4-2.
