Nobles Suffer 12-2 Drubbing
The Pennsauken Flyers used an offensive barrage to beat the Bakersfield Nobles, 12-2, at Jerome Grounds. Stu Kennedy led the way, going 2-for-4 for Pennsauken. George Boyce, the winner, improved to 1-1. He held Bakersfield to 2 runs on 4 hits over 7 innings, while racking up 7 strikeouts. With the win, Pennsauken improves its record to 7-6.

Kennedy put Pennsauken up, 4-0, when he hit a 3-run home run off Sanya Matlah in the top of the second. His 4th home run of the season helped the Flyers capture the win.

"You can't sugarcoat this one," said Bakersfield manager Timmy Appeldoorn. "We got flat-out beat."
