Pennsauken starter Rodrigo Herrera put the Bakersfield offense in a vise grip. The left-hander relied heavily on his sinker in leading the Flyers to a 2-1 win. Herrera picked up the win for Pennsauken, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 2-1. Pablo Gonzáles collected his 3rd save.

Pennsauken took a 2-1 lead on Alaimoana Wiki's 1st home run of the season. The solo home run, which Wiki hit in the top of the seventh, left Bakersfield pitcher José García visibly frustrated.

"Rodrigo had good arm action, good stuff," said Pennsauken manager Dave Morse.
