The Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds, despite a fine performance by Jersey City pitcher Satoshi Morimoto, grabbed a 3-2 win at Dog Park in Ellenburg. Morimoto allowed 3 runs over 8 innings. Luke Corner notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now sits at 1-0. Jody Dunn earned the save for Ellenburg, his 5th of the year.

Ellenburg took a 3-2 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when H.R. Pickens hit a clutch 2-run home run to bring Fighting Dachshunds fans to their feet.
