Bakersfield Nobles starter David Sullivan was in fine form against the Baton Rouge Brass at Jerome Grounds, leading his team to a win, 7-3. The save went to Lorenzo Castillo, number 1 for him. Baton Rouge, with the loss, is 7-8.

Bakersfield took a 4-3 lead on José Altagracia's 5th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Altagracia hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Baton Rouge pitcher Ramón Marte visibly frustrated.
