Billy Goats Suffer One-Run Loss at Toledo
|
The 5-4 Toledo win over Colorado was due in large part to David Ruíz. The Stingers catcher went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 times. Toledo goes to 2-2.
Bob Matthews helped out the Toledo cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the right fielder went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk.
Toledo manager David Bunting called it "a darn good win."
