Grey Wolves Beat Shredders, 2-0, Behind Butler
|
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Vancouver Grey Wolves and the Hollywood Shredders. Vancouver won it, 2-0. Vancouver starter Pat Butler was in command. Waweru Kamili, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2050 draft, earned the save for Vancouver. The defeat makes Hollywood 20-15.
Butler picked up the win. He's now 4-4, after putting the Hollywood offense in the deep freeze. Over 7 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 2 hits.
"We didn't score," said losing manager Bill Cheese. "That was the problem."
