The Flyers grabbed a win, 4-3, at Pennsauken Park, overcoming a fine effort from Baton Rouge pitcher Jessie Wolfe. Wolfe went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs. Pennsauken reliever Gin-fan Dou picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Imbart Theunen was saddled with the loss. At 10-6, the Flyers have played well so far.

George Myers, who is tied for 5th in the PAAA in RBI with 11, took Baton Rouge hurler Imbart Theunen deep in the bottom of the eighth. His 2-run home run put the Flyers on top, 4-3. In all, Myers had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.

Pennsauken manager Dave Morse commended his team for exhibiting "no shortage of effort."
