The Baltimore Bullets grabbed a win, 7-4, over the New Orleans Voodoo at Baltimore Grounds. Baltimore third baseman Nathan Dixon was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Jorge Cabral came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-3. With the win, Baltimore has a record of 11-24. New Orleans falls to 18-17.
Arturo Prado had a clutch at-bat with two out in the bottom of the eighth for the Bullets. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Baltimore trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single.
"Nice to get this one," said Prado. "We've been scuffling."
